My Project

Our school accepts those that are identified as academically high risk and we provide school readiness activities for 4 and 5 year-old children, in a half day setting. Our students have special needs and work to acquire skills that will make them successful. Our program gives them a head start on developing academic and social skills for the coming years. Our students learn by using visual and hands-on activities. Our students love dinosaurs and being able to see and play with dinosaurs will help develop fine motor and communication skills. We have 22 students in our classroom that will benefit from being able to have hands on experiences with counting and naming dinosaurs. I believe my students will enjoy the hands on experiences learning about different dinosaurs. The goal is to increase communication by naming the different dinosaurs.
