My Project

My library services a student body of over 1,100 children. I LOVE seeing students excited about books and reading. Much of their day is spent online and this excessive screen time is not always the best for their development.

When they are in need of information, they are so quick to turn to technology for the answer and with that they miss the experience of reading a printed book which engages many of our five senses.

I want students to experience this and to experience what reading and research was like before the information highway existed.
