My Project

My students are quiet, but full of creativity. They need chances to live in their own worlds and become the heroes of their stories through books. They also need opportunities to read independently and feel confident in their skills. This should happen in a safe, loving, and fun environment where they can dream and let their minds explore. The instructional materials like the phonics games set and beginning readers allow me to teach using a hands-on approach. Fairy-tale world accessories like the beanbag seat and canopy provide students a safe, creative space to practice and grow their reading abilities.

The project aims to create a hands-on approach that expands opportunities for instructional time.

It provides structured teaching while giving students time to practice and build confidence in their developing reading skills.

My students are remarkable. They work hard to overcome the obstacles life has put in their way. Many come from low-income homes where reading has not been prioritized, and some have learning disabilities that make success feel out of reach. They need chances to build confidence and improve their reading skills. Most of all, they need the opportunity to be the hero of their own lives.
