Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our fourth grade is requesting materials to transform our hallway and classrooms into the Greatest Test Prep Show on Earth! Our students will be taking their last state exam in May and the weeks leading up to it will be spent on review. In order to make it fun and motivating, we have decided on a Carnival theme. Students will be engaging in critical thinking activities designed to review the entire year's curriculum in order to prepare them.

This year our school grade is only based on proficiency so we are doing our absolute best to motivate our students so that they can show their best effort on the test!

Throughout the weeks leading up to testing, students will be working hard, and being rewarded for completing tasks. We are requesting a variety of materials to help us set the stage, create the review materials, and then rewards for our students to motivate them through the end of the year.

We are very appreciative of everything that gets donated to us and plan to laminate as much as we can so that it can be used year after year. The decorations will be stored in our offices with the review materials. The snacks and rewards will be the only thing we need to replenish each year. Thank you so much for helping us motivate our students to do their best on the test.
