One moment that truly stood out was during our daily read-aloud. Several students noticed how calm and quiet the classroom felt, and one student proudly said, \"The air is helping us learn!\" It was such a sweet reminder that even our youngest learners understand when something good is happening for them.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the air purifier, they were full of excitement and questions. They gathered around it with wide eyes, eager to learn what it did and how it would help them. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who typically struggles during circle time calmly squeeze a fidget and remain engaged for the entire lesson—something that would have been very difficult before.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were beyond excited. Their faces lit up as they explored the different textures, weights, and movement options. Many of them immediately recognized which items helped them feel calm or focused, and they proudly asked to use them during class. It was incredibly empowering for them to have tools that support their individual sensory needs and help them feel successful in the classroom.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, our next steps include continuing to teach students how to independently choose and use sensory tools as part of their self-regulation strategies. We are also working on extending focus and participation during academic tasks by pairing these sensory supports with reading, math, and social skills lessons.
