My classroom is very limited in the amount of technology that we have. Students are required to access online resources everyday, which becomes a challenge due to lack of technology. These tablets will engage students by allowing them the ability to read anywhere and at anytime. Many of my students also struggle reading by themselves. I need these tablets to gain access to programs that read to lower level readers and those who may be second language learners. These tablets will allow me to have every student on technology for over an hour each day. It is a proven fact that students who use technology for reading and academic learning games perform better in the real word. My school has a program called iReady which is fun, engaging and an additional tool to help implement the standards. Students will also be able to take AR tests to help them meet there reading goal. Additionally I have three students who cannot read by themselves so with these tablets they will be able to enjoy listening to books aloud. Nowadays everything around us is evolving so we need to get students on the computers as much as possible to get them ready for the real world. These tablets will help me double the number of kids I have using technology at a time. These tablets will help my students succeed on many levels!
