My Project

In Nashua, 46% of the students receive "school lunch" from the Free and Reduced Lunch Program offered by the federal government. However, many of my students do not qualify for the program, and some go hungry.

I am a FACS teacher, and I want to give the students the opportunity to stop by between classes if they are hungry.

And they are hungry! Growth spurts, adolescent development, and stress all affect our ability to learn. With a healthy snack of popcorn, they can have a healthy snack and continue with their day.
