This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This group of students I have come from a low socio-economic background (the poorest city in California). In addition these students missed all of 1st grade and part of kindergarten due to distance learning. Due to this some have difficulty sitting still at times and have missed out on so much!

Alternative seating will help them better focus!

They will be entranced by watching the butterflies transform from caterpillars to their chrysalis's to butterflies right before their eyes! They will learn how to feed them by growing butterfly edible plants.
