My students need the Amazon Kindle Fire for independent learning in math and literacy stations. There are many wonderful apps to download that address our kindergarten skills. This will improve their reading and writing skills.
Our school serves students in grades K-5 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment. Our community has changed over the years from stay at home moms to both mom and dad working. My role as a kindergarten teacher is crucial to beginning the path of a positive experience towards school.
I have 23 students that includes a diverse array of experience.
Some have had preschool experience and some have had none. I take that diversity and am able to bring them together as a community and be an independent learner.

This will improve their reading and writing skills in a fun, interactive way. There are so many wonderful books that we can download to our Kindles!
Desktop computers give limited use to 21st century learners as they are limited to its use and relevancy.
The students will be able to use technology in an independent manner to improve their reading, writing and number skills. They will also learn how to get along with peers and sharing skills as they learn how to navigate thru the programs provided.
