My students will use the Amazon Kindle Fire Tablets for independent learning in math and literacy stations. There are many wonderful apps to download that address our kindergarten skills. This will improve their reading and writing skills in a fun, interactive way. There are so many wonderful books that we can download to our Kindles! Desktop computers give limited use to 21st century learners as they are limited to its use and relevancy. The students will be able to use technology in an independent manner to improve their reading, writing and number skills. They will also learn how to get along with peers and sharing skills as they learn how to navigate thru the programs provided.
