Technology Tables for Literature Collaboration Lab

My students need new tables, chairs, and comfortable seating to go along with the Chromebook lab that we recently had funded through a grant.

My Students

I teach 9th-10th grade honors, gifted, and regular English literature classes. 100% of the students at my school recieve free breakfast and lunch. My students come from a culturally diverse mix of White, Black, Native American, Hispanic, and Asian populations. Despite the economic disadvantages my students face, they are serious about education, and excited to be at school. Our school motto is that "Average is Over- Exceed and Excel!" My students have embraced this positive thinking and set high goals for themselves and work hard to reach those goals. The humility, kindness, intelligence, and work-ethic of my students inspire me to be a better teacher everyday.

My Project

Our classroom was recently awarded a grant for a Chromebook lab. To make collaboration between students easier, we need tables and chairs. We currently have single desks some of which will be worked into the flexible seating plan that I am integrating into our classroom. However, now that our classroom is technology based, technology tables are needed to continue our collaboration work in our Honors Literature and Writing Lab.

Help us get a new, large table for our writing/literature collaboration lab!

We are only asking for 1 new table and 4 new chairs at this time with the hopes of eventually getting a total of 8 new tables.
