With the new tools and supplies, students are actively planting seeds, monitoring soil conditions, and caring for growing plants using real gardening equipment. One special moment was watching students use the soil testers and watering tools together, taking turns and working as a team to make sure each plant had what it needed. These resources have transformed our garden into a space where students are not only learning about plants, but also building independence, responsibility, and confidence through meaningful, real-world tasks.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw all of the new materials, their excitement was immediate—they couldn't wait to get started. From the gloves to the hose pipe and garden tools, every item sparked curiosity and eagerness to participate. Many of our students, especially those who benefit from hands-on and sensory learning, were thrilled to be able to dig, plant, and explore in a structured and supportive environment. Moving forward, we will continue expanding our garden by starting seedlings, tracking plant growth, and incorporating lessons on nutrition, teamwork, and life skills.
