My Students

My kiddos don't often get the chance to just be kids. They are required to grow up so fast for many reasons. Regardless, I want them to have the chance to play and run and dream everyday! I want to be able to show them how wonderful they are by video taping them performing, playing & accomplishing!

I have the honor of helping a fabulous bunch of third-graders learn!

We are a title one school with a lot of varying needs. The children in my classroom are so special! Some of these children have experienced more negative events in their young lives than anyone should experience in a lifetime. They are strong, resilient and can accomplish positive learning to help them break the cycle and live their dreams! Being around these great students everyday is amazing! They keep me going and make me want to give them all I can to help them, because they give me so much!

My Project

With this little video camera, we will be able to tape our reader's theater plays, science projects, monthly book report presentations, writing presentations, choir concerts, awards and accomplishments! We will also be able to make a permanent cd of all of these, so they can keep it forever and share it with family and friends. It will also enable us to make a third-grade video of our whole year for them to keep! With these they will learn that life can be positive if you work hard and dream big!!!

Your help with our project will make the difference in a lot of little lives.

It will help to empower them not only see how wonderful they are, but more importantly, with the knowledge that the world cares about them! It can and will help solidify for them that there are resources to help them be the very best they can be!!!
