My students were so excited as each package came. We have been able to use the items in many ways. \r\nMy class uses a class currency as an incentive to make good choices throughout the day. They have been so excited to see the many new items that were added in the store. They save up money to purchase the most desired things. \r\nThey also have been able to use the art supplies to jazz up their writing. Writing can seem so much more exciting when they are able to add a picture to the top or put it on colored paper and hang it for others to see.\r\nThese things have made our class become more like a family and a place these kids want to be daily and are excited to learn at.","fullyFundedDate":1755521993985,"projectUrl":"project/art-and-store/9341966/","projectTitle":"Art and Store","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Keller","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10020102"},{"teacherId":6921707,"projectId":9539788,"letterContent":"I cannot thank you enough for your generosity and support of my classroom through our Donors Choose project. Because of you, every one of my students now has access to clean, safe drinking water right in our classroom and the pride of owning their very own reusable water bottle. What may seem like a simple resource has made a truly powerful difference in their daily lives.\r\n\r\nSince installing our filtered water system, I've seen my students stay more focused and energized throughout the day. They no longer have to leave the classroom to refill or share bottles, which means more time for learning and engagement. More importantly, they've taken real ownership of the responsibility to stay hydrated and care for their environment, a lesson that will serve them far beyond this school year.\r\n\r\nFor many of my students, even basic supplies can be out of reach, but your kindness showed them that people believe in their potential and care about their well-being. You've helped create not only a healthier classroom but also a space where students feel valued, empowered, and motivated to make positive choices for themselves and their world.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students' health, their learning, and their future. Many of the items received are to help the students with their phonics routine. They are able to use the whiteboard markers to erase any mistakes they make and easily change letters as they make word chains. Students are also motivated to earn money for our store classroom. The small toys and treats that we received are in the store. The students earned the money as they come into class on time and stay on task during phonics and math. Students in my class come from low income families. They were so excited every time a new box would come in to our classroom. It was like Christmas time for them. We would open it up and as we pulled everything out, they would cheer. A small thing like pencils or erasers seemed like an iPad to them. These kids have so little and are so grateful for the smallest things. The kids would ask where the packages were coming from. I made sure to let them know that General Motors was so generous and donated all the items to our classroom. We are so grateful for everything that was donated and with these items, our class is able to function at a higher level.","fullyFundedDate":1746786023273,"projectUrl":"project/title-i-classroom/9324797/","projectTitle":"Title I classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Keller","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10020102"},{"teacherId":2592303,"projectId":9078047,"letterContent":"The students were so excited to see the new books and the spot stuffies.
