My Project

My students are learning to use technology in the classroom! They are being exposed to iPads and a laptop at various times throughout the school day while working on assessments and while learning new skills!

Headphones are a great way to actively engage my students in learning using new technology!

My students will be able to work on reading/math skills on the iPad, using the headphones, while not disturbing their classmates! This is so important because right now when a child is using an iPad, the sound distracts our other students. The student who is on the iPad needs to hear the instructions on the iPad as they move from one skill/level to the next. However, other students look over when they hear the iPad making noise. This distracts our students and takes them away from learning new skills.

The case will protect our laptop while our students rotate among centers. Our students will engage in reading/math skills while using our laptop.

The mini display port adapter and a multiport adapter will provide my students with a hands-on learning experience while using their Promethean Board! My students would be able to use the touchscreen on their Promethean Board with these adapters we are requesting! They would be able to engage with our laptop while the reading/math activity is displayed on our Promethean Board. My students will expand their imagination, collaboration, and problem-solving skills! while also working on a variety of important developmental skills needed for their future!

Imagine being skilled in technology at a young age, and the many opportunities this will open for my students in their future!
