My students need an iPad, iPod, and speakers to enhance the use of technology in the classroom for music and movement activities as well as data collection.

My Students

My students are between the ages of two and three and have many different disabilities and needs such as autism, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and emotional and physical challenges.

I also have a few students that are typically developing that serve as peer models for language and socialization.

My students come from culturally diverse families, and many have socioeconomic challenges as well. My school is a Title I school and we have a large population of children with special needs and English Language Learners.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting are needed because my students love music and movement, but due to a broken stereo, it's a challenge to play music. The ipod and speakers will be used to play music for the children during movement activities and throughout the school day. The ipad will be used to take videos and pictures throughout the school day to document student learning. I also requested protective cases to keep our new items safe form little hands as well as additional chargers for the ipad and ipod.

The donations to this project will help enrich the lives of the children in my class by giving them the ability to get their wiggles out by dancing to music.

Preschoolers can learn a lot through music and movement activities, and it is important to be able to provide these experiences. I need your support to help make this project a reality!
