Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students live in a high poverty farming community, have multiple siblings, and are English Language Learners.
If supplies are needed, the local Dollar Store is the one place with anything for the entire town.
It is a blessing if my students enter class with a sharpened pencil, eraser, and paper from day to day.
Despite uncontrollable financial woes, my students are still my children. They are eager, excited learners, and I want to facilitate their learning to the best of my ability.
My Project
Having an Apple TV and wireless presentation remote will help make any student's digital presentations and creations visible for all to see from the anywhere in the room. Students will have the flexibility to stand anywhere, including one's own desk, and present collaboratively using the wireless presenter and Apple TV.
Students will be able to present their projects in a fun and exciting way without having to stand directly in front of the class.
Similarly, using the presentation remote, students will better develop their presentations skills with mobility and specifically point out important information with the visibility of the laser.
