My students need additional audio visual technology like a sound bar and wall mount for the gym television donated by PTA. Adding technology provides a hook for my students to continue to be active at home.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Physical Education students,(Pre-K through 5) come from low socio-economic backgrounds. My school, services students with physical disabilities as well as social disabilities. All students are eager to be active to learn new games and skills.
Physical Education teaches my students the importance of physical movement, fitness awareness, and social skills in a fun and non-threatening environment.
Learning social skills will help students learn conflict resolution, to aid them for a lifetime. They attend physical education classes 45 minutes a day.
Physical literacy and social skills encourage students to participate in lifelong fitness.
My Project
A large screen smart TV has been donated to my Physical Education program. The project at hand is to complete the the technology process so that my students are able to visually experience technology in a physical fitness environment. They will be able to experience physical literacy at school as well as take home technological fitness information to encourage family fitness and fun.
Adding visual demonstrations, timers, and apps, on the digital screen will help students to visually see skills and activities that they will be able to use for a lifetime.
This added technology will also help students experience fun fitness activities things that they may not get introduced to anywhere else.
