I am now able to create resources for all grade levels on campus, to be used throughout the year, and every year to come! \r\n\r\nThe most recent item I've used from this donation is the book binder, and the paper cutter to create reusable booklets for students to practice reading and writing rhythms. This resource can be used with all grade levels because of the template I created. The reusable dots provide a space for students that I tutor to work out their math problems, the pegboard supplies have provided an incentive wall for all students to choose a reward for their above and beyond behavior, and the reusable zipper pouches provide ready-to-go materials for groups!\r\n\r\nMy favorite reaction has to be when one of my 5th grade student sees all of the new classroom supplies and manipulatives that were made, and he said \"Are these new? These are amazing! Someone must really love us!\" \r\n\r\nAfter 6 years at my previous campus, having to move to a new campus this year caused quite a bit of stress. When I entered my classroom, there were very few resources that I could salvage to use for this year. Receiving this donation was an amazing surprise and our students are forever grateful to use them! Our students writing and fine motor skills thrived this last year because of y'alls support.\r\n\r\nOur students started out by simply peeling stickers off the pages and placing them along the pre written letter, then they would try to write the letter themselves. As the year went on we started having them draw and journal more using sentence stems as examples. \r\n\r\nIt was super cool getting to look back at where they started and where they ended. It was also an amazing gift to give parents. Through you dronation of our puppet stage, my students were able to reenact stories we already read. Stories like the 3 little pigs, Goldilocks and more. They also were able to be creative and expressive with their own imagination by coming up with their own stories and putting on a play. Not only did this engage them in their learning, but it gave them an outlet to work on the communication skills. Through this activity I saw many students began to come out of their shells, talk more clearly and more in general. It was amazing to see the growth and it's all thanks to your generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1712084682236,"projectUrl":"project/little-puppeteers/8181693/","projectTitle":"Little Puppeteers","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Cannon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9062361_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1690203904461","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9062361"},{"teacherId":9062361,"projectId":9070099,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your support.
