Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work at a Title I school in the Ogden School District in Utah. I have always worked at this type of school because I feel it is where students need the most attention and I believe I can make a difference.

My students are eager for learning experiences as well as for attention they may not get anywhere else but in our classrooms.

All my students are very special in my heart I will always cherish there wow moments in my heart.

My Project

My students are enrolled in a dual-language program. The heritage of my student population also represents cultures from around the world.

Through your donations, my students will be able to learn more about their heritage as well as other cultures, primarily from Spanish speaking countries, from the comfort of our classroom.

As you know, the language in Spanish speaking countries varies from region to region. My project will allow students to experience those differing dialects. Our students need to embrace where they come from and be appreciative of the struggles and successes their ancestors have faced throughout the years.
