My students are enrolled in a dual-language program. The heritage of my student population also represents cultures from around the world. Through your donations, my students will be able to learn more about their heritage as well as other cultures, primarily from Spanish speaking countries, from the comfort of our classroom. As you know, the language in Spanish speaking countries varies from region to region. My project will allow students to experience those differing dialects. Our students need to embrace where they come from and be appreciative of the struggles and successes their ancestors have faced throughout the years.
