Why use technology in School based Occupational Therapy (OT)sessions?

The use of technology in OT is called Assistive technology, refers to the use of technology to help someone be as independent as possible with a task.

This may include suggestions and/or equipment. Areas of expertise include written expression (i.e. handwriting or typing), computer access, and use of switches.

My students vary from Pre K to 5th grade, adding Assistive Technology can to help them participate in their education, by using vehicle that inspires them to bridge the gaps in their education .
