My Project

All teachers are combating screen time in their classrooms. We all want to see our students engaging in conversation and hands-on learning. Often, our advanced learners are forgotten in the mix. These learners don't need manipulatives during the lesson to make sense of the math around them. They may not need to utilize a number line or chips to get to the correct answer, but that does not remove their need to put their hands on something in the classroom.

I need to provide my students with activities to stimulate spatial awareness when they have completed their task for the day that are not more of the same problems, and Kanoodle puzzles meet that need.

Kanoodle puzzles are unique puzzles that require students to think through a variety of scenarios, utilizing unique shapes to fit in a specified shape. Each puzzle box comes with 200+ challenges for students to solve. This is the perfect tech-free option for my students to engage with to stretch their minds without resorting to busy work or worse, putting them on a device and hoping that they stay on task.
