Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me create a welcoming and functional learning environment for my amazing students! My classroom is a space where every child, regardless of background, ability, or challenge, is given the opportunity to thrive. I work in a district where many students face obstacles both inside and outside the classroom, and it is my daily mission to support their growth, learning, and confidence.

I serve a diverse group of students with varying needs, including learning disabilities, speech-language impairments, and autism.

Despite their differences, they all have one thing in common: a genuine eagerness to learn, connect, and succeed.

In order to make the most of every square foot in my classroom, I need furniture that is both space-efficient and functional. That’s why I’m requesting sturdy, adjustable tables that can adapt to the needs of our students. These tables will create a central, flexible area where students can come together for small group work, hands-on activities, and speech therapy sessions.

Having a designated, well-organized workspace will not only help us maximize our limited room, it will also support collaboration, independence, and a sense of community for all students.
