This table allows my students to comfortably sit together in a small group, making it much easier to work on communication goals such as turn-taking, following directions, and participating in conversations with peers.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the table, they were excited to sit together and immediately understood that this was a special space just for speech. Having a consistent and structured area helps them stay focused and engaged, especially for students who benefit from routine and visual organization. It has already made transitions into therapy smoother and reduced distractions during sessions.\r\nWe are using the table daily for hands-on activities such as games, picture-based tasks, articulation practice, and language-building activities. Sitting together at the table encourages eye contact, social interaction, and peer modeling, which are essential for developing communication skills.\r\n\r\nNext, my students will continue using this space to work on group language lessons, social communication activities, and collaborative projects that require them to listen, respond, and problem-solve together. This table has created a welcoming and functional learning environment, and it will continue to support my students' growth for years to come.
