Tasting Text to Tantalize Tastbuds

Help me give my students new books to expand our classroom library and Book Tasting activities.

My Project

I am in the process of building a classroom library for my students and I am requesting book donations to help my students discover a love and appreciation for reading. My goal is to have a books across several genres, authors, and topics.

The books donations would help my students discover and cultivate a love for reading.

I would also like my library representative of the diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds of my students.

One way I try to bring this all together is by hosting a classroom Book Tasting each year so students can be exposed to books they are not use to reading or think they wouldn’t like to read. Each year students have discovered new books and authors they love.

This project will help continue this love for learning.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
