Help my students to feel more at home in our home living center. I am a full day Pre-K teacher in a high-needs community. We are one of the only full day Pre-K programs in our community.

Full day Pre-K programs are expensive and our school opened ours about 5 years ago to help the high poverty community educated their children and save on daycare cost. This was with wonderful intention, but since we have such a high poverty community we started the program with little to no money for supplies. I have pieced together money and donations for what I could over the last 5 years and I am now asking for help with a supply that I have not been able to get for my students on my own. The students love to have tea parties and dinners, but have no set area to do them in without a dining set.

I need a table and two chair dining set to help my students have a proper area for cooperative play. This would help my students to use team work in learning cooperative life skill, which they are learning in this stage of their development.

Your help will make mine and my student’s dream of a completely functional home living center a reality. Life skills are so important to teach to my students at this age. If my students had a family style table to have tea parties and dinners this would greatly increase their communication and sharing life skills. Thank you for your consideration of this project.
