My Project

As we near the end of the 2022-2023 school year, our students feel a range of emotions. Many are anxious about what the summer and following years will look like for them. The amazing relationships we've built with students and the hours of hard work stand out.

To celebrate our accomplishments, we'd love to treat our students to an ice cream party as the weather turns warm, and we complete the year.

Many of the perishable items will be purchased out of pocket, but decorations, party supplies, and some sweets are desired for this project. Some of our students don't do well with dairy and to accommodate-ice pops!

We'd like to hold the party outside, and clean up will be made easier with pop up garbage and recycling bins. Knowing our end of the year joy can also bring unknown, there are special items in this project to support students with the anxiety of change along with other further education of disability areas.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
