My Project

I teach students of all abilities and backgrounds 7th grade civics. At the end of the school year they sit for a rigorous state, end of course exam worth 30% of their final grade for the course. It is a lot of pressure for my 12 and 13 year old students.

The Lifesavers, Tootsie Rolls, Brachs and Now and Later candies will be used as rewards and incentives as we review the extensive material my students need to comprehend.

The exam covers over 40 benchmarks. The students not only need to know the content but be able to apply what they learn to various situtations and scenarios.
