Using color enhances this activity for the children to comprehend the significance geography had on many societies. They also create other projects in our classroom and coloring adds a layer of engagement. In fact, they used the wonderful pencil sets to create a mummy booklet to analyze the mummification process. \r\n\r\nThe students were delighted when I showed them the colored pencil kits. In fact, they are handling them gingerly and are trying to keep them like new. Having individual sets is so important and gives them a sense of ownership when using these supplies. \r\n\r\nWe will continue to use these colored pencil kits to analyze more maps in the near future. Adding the wheels allows for me and the students to quickly rearrange the layout for the specific purpose of the day whether that be a lab or an exam. It is so easy and effortless now and it doesn't scuff up the floor, added bonus! We had loved the tables for testing the next day and then we were able to arrange them into groups the next morning for a lab.\r\nThe students were very excited when they noticed the tables have wheels on them, allowing them to move them much easier! As we prepare for midterms and final exams, we will be able to move the tables around each day for different review methods which is very nice.
