I teach 8th grade science to about 160 students each year. My classroom is a hands-on, inquiry-based space where students actively explore science through real-world investigations. I specialize in teaching high-achieving students and English Language Learners, and I’ve found that doing science—not just reading about it—is the key to deep understanding and lasting engagement. Whether we’re modeling atoms, testing chemical reactions, or monitoring ecosystems, students are building STEM skills that matter.
