My students attend a Title One public elementary school in Florida. I teach science and writing to 66 4th grade students (22 at any given time) throughout the day. 24% of them are ESE (students with learning disabilities) students. 26% of them are ELL (English language learners), and 97% of my students are economically needy. My kids are eager to learn and excited about our school wide initiative to BYOD (bring your own device to school). Because they are from low income families, they do not have the opportunity to own a device, much less have one for school.
