My Project

Dear Supporters,

As the cold weather and holiday season approaches, we reflect on the warmth and joy that come from community support.

We invite you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our incredible students at our Alternative School. Many of our students come from low-income families, and a significant number are in the foster care system. Your generous support can help provide them with personal and learning resources they need to thrive.

This year, our Marketing and Design class is embracing the spirit of the holidays by focusing on a special project involving personalized winter sweaters. We want to ensure our students stay warm, allowing them to concentrate on their learning. By donating sweaters, you not only keep our students cozy but also give them a wonderful opportunity to express their creativity.

Each student will use our Glowforge and Cricut technology to personalize their sweater, transforming it into a unique learning experience. This hands-on project will teach them valuable design and technology skills, encouraging them to embrace their potential as future entrepreneurs. Imagine the pride they will feel wearing a sweater that reflects their individuality, knowing they are supported by their community.

We kindly ask for your help with the following items:

Glowforge-compatible laser materials (wood, acrylic, leather)

Cricut cutting materials (vinyl, cardstock, fabric)

- Adhesives and transfer paper

-Design tools and accessories

-General classroom supplies

- Winter sweaters of various sizes
