Supporting Learning in a Brooklyn STEM Classroom

My Project

These materials are needed to support learning in STEM. Most of the supplies will be handed out to students who request new notebooks or supplies to support notebook work. The document scanner will be used to show larger groups of students' annotations for graphs and readings. It will also be used to show demonstrations of STEM concepts so that students with visual difficulties who do not have glasses are better able to see what's being shown.

At this time in the school year, we have used up a lot of our basic supplies needed to support students in our STEM classroom.

Our school has no additional partnerships or funding sources for basics besides our school budget. Students are always asking for notebooks, band-aids, and markers. These supplies would allow them to focus on learning instead of what's missing when they are trying to do their work.

Ms. Mannino Intermediate School 381 Grades 6-8
