Supporting A Sense of Belonging

Help me give my students an opportunity to earn rewards they are interested in for their positive behaviors.

Ms. Fujitani Niu Valley Middle School
Honolulu, HI Grades 6-8

My Project

The items I have purchased will help to support my students positive behaviors. We are looking to expand and are continuing to build upon our schools PBIS store. This year students have been working hard to earn points for their positive behaviors and we are listening to their feedback. They have shared with us on what they want to see in the store and we have kept track of things they enjoy earning. We are hoping to continue to stock the store with items they are interested in earning.

Other supplies purchases will also support the students in our school.

Some times they come to us for something like a fork or plate and we want to be able to help them during those times. Or when a class earns a mini potluck/party then we can help them by providing paper goods. The supplies will go towards support their sense of belonging to our school.
