My Project

The beginning of the school year is always a busy and exciting time, and having these supplies ready will help create a smooth transition into the classroom. By ensuring students have access to the materials they need from the very first day, we can spend more time building routines, exploring history, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Each student in my class will receive their own pair of headphones to use throughout the year.

These headphones will allow students to independently access instructional videos, primary source recordings, and other digital learning activities without disrupting their classmates.

The hybrid binders will become each student's yearlong portfolio, where they will organize notes, assignments, projects, and writing from throughout the school year. Keeping extra binders in the classroom ensures that every student has the organizational tools they need to stay engaged and successful.

The ink will be used with our classroom printer to produce worksheets, instructional materials, assessments, and both rough and final drafts of student writing. Having access to these materials allows students to practice, revise, and showcase their learning throughout the year.

The colored pencils will be used to restock the classroom supply bags that remain at students' desks. These shared supplies ensure that every student can fully participate in maps, diagrams, timelines, and other creative activities that bring history to life, while keeping essential materials readily available every day.
