Supplying Students for the Second Semester

Help me give my students replenished crayons, markers, and other school supplies and resources for a successful second semester.

My Project

My kindergarten students have worked hard through the first semester, and some of their supplies prove it. My students need new crayons, dry-erase markers, and desk tags to use during our instructional day. Supplies like these don't always last an entire school year when our fine motor skills are just developing.

Many of our parents are unable to provide school supplies, and this project will ensure each student gets the new supplies they need.

The cardstock and laminating sheets will allow me to print new desk name tags that have become tattered through the first semester, and now need to include their last names. I will use the Velcro to attach them to their desks so they can take them with them around the room to use if needed. We use Play-Doh daily in our learning to build sight words, roll into balls to use as counters for math, and to use our letter stamps in to build words. Providing each student with a container of their own teaches them responsibility. I also have students with fine motor differences that will benefit from the pencil grips and adapted scissors. Thank you for helping me provide my little learners and leaders with the supplies they need to be successful in the second semester.
