My Students

Compassionate, curious, and full of the desire to learn more accurately describes my students. These children have huge hearts and are always asking to learn more, read more, and do more! They inspire me each and everyday! At SSA we are a family and see school as a second home.

My Project

Beakers, test tubes, safety goggles oh my! Those are some of the various supplies you will be giving to the eager learners at our school! Being a new science teacher, the needed supplies that make science lessons 'stick' are scarce. Students having the opportunity to get their hands dirty and see the exciting information science has to give firsthand is essential to effective learning. Being told how exciting an experiment is one thing, SHOWING and DOING the experiment is another!

Having test tubes and beakers would make various different experiments doable as well as memorable. Teaching safety in the lab is very important as well, which having the safety supplies like safety goggles is extremely important in promoting this idea. The majority of supplies being requested are reusable so the students of this year and the many years to come can use and appreciate the gift being given. Thank you for helping my students LOVE science and the opportunity you are giving to them! Thank you so much!
