Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students at LA High have big dreams of attending colleges and universities, most of them being the first in their families to do so. As AP season approaches, the students need ways to help them review content prior to the big tests in May. I want to help the students "build their own review adventure" in the classroom by providing various stations where they can focus on what skills they most need to be successful.

I am interested in having stations where they can read the review book or practice vocabulary using the notecards to practice their skills in both AP Human Geography as well as AP US History.

My goal is to ensure they have every opportunity of success.

My classroom also uses a lot of digital tools as well as traditional ones, such as notebooks and posters. This is where the computer chargers and glue sticks will come in handy. Student computers often lose their charge by the time they see me. I want to provide them with the ability to continue studying in whatever way they can!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
