Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love school! In my classroom, my students love coming to school. They are eager to learn and are sponges when it comes to learning new things.

This school year I moved from first to third grade.

I have never taught third grade before but loving it! These students are so sweet and loving!

My Project

I am requesting these items because several of these items I need for my students and for new students that will be joining my class. As the year goes on we have new students join our class.

I want them to feel welcome and provide them with supplies that they need!

We use binders daily to keep their papers in, along with a take home folder in their binder. I use both sizes of labels for their notebooks. I have all their books labeled with their name on the labels. I also use labels that say Math Notebook and Science Notebook. This helps with their organizational skills. The colored paper and sheet protectors are used for dividers for different subjects. All of these are so important in my classroom.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
