My Students
I work at a Title I school in a small town in South Carolina. Every day I come to school and see the smiling faces of my kids and the other students in the school and I am so excited to be a part of their education. The atmosphere and staff of the school is a good fit for me being a first-year teacher and I genuinely enjoy working there starting my teaching career.
My students are a group of loving and caring 3rd graders who are eager to learn and they love engaging lessons that are hands-on and exploratory.
The students being at Title I school means that a lot of students are below grade level and need extra help and resources to get brought up to grade level.
I want to be able to provide the best education for my students not only academically but socially and emotionally. I love seeing my kids understand what I am teaching and that they want to keep coming to school to learn.
My Project
Supplies in my classroom are much needed! As the year has continues on we have run low on what we need to help with lessons and learning. Glue sticks are needed to help with projects and daily papers that are glued into notebooks. The markers are for projects and assignments and help my students with their creativity!
The whiteboards will be used daily for lessons to give my students hands-on learning along with the expo markers to help them write and explore.
I want my students to be able to solve problems and write answers on the whiteboards while I am teaching. This will help keep them engaged and on task. These school supplies will help us learn and grow as students.
