Supplies for Success in Second Grade

My Project

My students strive for success and I strive to meet their needs and ensure they have the material necessary to be successful. The I Spy, and Search and Find books are an awesome resources to engage my students in reading. The books give my students a reason to be excited about reading. The sticky notes will also be used to motivate my students to read. They will use the sticky notes to identify their favorite parts in a book, interesting facts they learn, or where they can make a connection to the text.

Organization is a lifelong skill I try to teach my students.

These storage rolling carts will give my students a space to store the materials they use throughout the day. The circle magnets will be used for a check-in and out system in our class. The system builds my students' responsibility as they are in charge of communicating where they are, or what they are working on in our classroom.

The colored card stock will be used to create math games for my students to independently practice skills they learn during whole group lessons. Overall, the materials will help my students to become lifelong learners and instill life skills.
