My students need new soccer balls. They are using old soccer balls from the PE department. They also need to be able to learn to pass the ball quickly if they want to be successful.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students would love the opportunity to play in a soccer club at my school. They are amazing students who are dedicated to the sport. Some of the students have never played soccer before and are interested in learning how to play. They are an amazing group of students and have a positive outlook on every thing they do.
They need something to kick around other than my sanity!
With your help, I hope to provide them with this wonderful experience!
My Project
We are a second year program. We are having to get our supplies by ourselves with no funding help from the school or the district. The students need this escape so they can have fun and learn the importance of communication and team work. These are two important skills the students can use not only in soccer but in the real world. By getting these supplies it shows the kids that people do care for them. We are a low income school so families are not able to pay for club sports outside of school. This program gives those families the opportunity to play sports.
The resources I am trying to get are the following: Pop up goal anchors, new soccer balls and a quick feet trainer kit.
The quick feet trainer kit training system helps the students master their one-touch game and improve overall coordination and balance. The soccer balls that the players are currently using are super old and are falling apart. By getting them the new soccer balls the students will be able to get a genuine feel when they kick and pass the ball. The pop up anchors will allow us to continue to use our soccer nets on windy game days. Even though we are in Arizona every game we played was super windy which made it hard for the soccer goals to remain up.
