Books will increase my students' love of reading and will build their fluency. Classroom libraries are essential to scholars each and every day. Reading aloud to students will model correct reading fluency and show first graders how to read with expression. Reading is fundamental for students to succeed in all other subject areas. Building reading stamina and building vocab is a huge need for students in my classroom. This is important since most of my students are English Language Learners and they need the extra practice to help them become amazing readers. By them reading more it will also help build their confidence and will help them be able to read out loud to the class.

About my class
