Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a Title I school. We are a school with a large concentration of low-income students. The number of low-income students is determined by the number of students enrolled in the free or reduced-price lunch program. Most of my students get free breakfast and lunch. My students come from families who are struggling to put food on the table let alone all the extras kids want and should have.

My school has about an 85% poverty rate, and my students are so grateful for all the supplies and extras donated.

My Project

This project will help students that are in a tittle 1 school to complete their math assignments with the white board, dry erasers, journals, pencils, glue and rulers. Those are daily use in classroom. We are at the middle of the school year and supplies are running out already. Also, the organization supplies are just to have a better organization in a dual classroom that have 52 awesome students.

By donating to our project, you will only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
