My Students

"Every student can learn, just not on the same day, or the same way." George Evans. Our classroom is an example of this.

I have a group of 22 very active third grade students.

They work hard and play hard also. The students enjoy their recess time which is usually played outdoors on our playground. They enjoy jumping rope, playing ball, and socializing on the playground. They also enjoy board games.

My Project

We are expecting El Nino rains to come to our area this winter. Our classroom may have to play both recesses indoors because of the expected rains. The board games and table will be easy to set up in our hallway and allow the children some relaxation time away from the rigors of their studies. Also, the art supplies will provide activities for indoor recess. The tablet will be a good addition to the six we recently received.

We don't all learn the same.

By providing the students with opportunities to learn through art, electronics, and playing board games, we are giving the students a way to learn through their different modalities.
