My Project

Our students deserve a safe and calm area at school. Often school work, expectations and the schedule can cause stress, frustration, anger and/or confusion for my students. We work everyday on different ways we can express these feelings and emotions.

Having a sensory space in our classroom provides safety, security and comfort give my students the opportunity to access the learning materials in an individualized way.

This sensory space will provide an area for all students to use different strategies and materials to regulate their bodies. Regulated bodies learn the best!
