My Project

Teaching summer school is an absolute favorite of mine. This is a time of the year were we get to do fun classes with our students. For the last 4 years, I have been teaching cake decorating and it has become the favorite for so many students. What I love about this is that I get to teach the kids something I am passionate about while building relationships outside of my normal classroom.

With the growing interest of students and the cost of items, it is getting harder to have enough funds to get enough supplies.

With this project, I would be able to open the class up to more students and use the funds provided for the course to get more of the actual cake & frosting ingredients that are needed for the course without having to increase the cost of the class for my students.
