The different color of food coloring were probably the students' favorite material that we recieved, they kept commenting how they have never seen so many colors of food coloring and were beyond excited to start making fun colors of frosting for their cakes! We also really appreciated the containers of fondant, it provide students the opportunity to work with a material that they may not normally have the chance to work with. Plus it gave them more creative freedom with their cake creations.\r\nAs the teacher, I greatly appreciated the paper products (spoons, tins, cakeboards, etc) and the boxes of cake mix. By having these funded, it allowed me to utilized my budget for efficiently to ensure I had enough supplies for the summer school class and not have to spend extra money out of my own pocket. Opening the boxes felt like Christmas morning for us teachers, we are probably the only adults who will be excited about boxes of sharpies and scissors. All the supplies have been put to use in our classrooms, students love having the option for UNO when there is free time. The majority of the supplies have been put to use for our daily activities, such as the pencils, sticky notes, scissors and markers.
