Summer EL-lympics and Soccer Hydration

Help me give my students an awesome end-of-year culminating activity and keep them hydrated during our packed after-school soccer sessions.

My Project

Leading into the Summer Olympics, I want to get my students excited, teach them about the various sports, and have them compete! We also need a way to keep many forgetful middle schoolers hydrated during our afterschool soccer program.

We will create our own version of the Olympics (complete with medals, flags and national anthems) right in our classroom!

Students will have the opportunity to medal in hula hooping, transferring ping pong balls, bubble gum blowing, hands-free Oreo slide, bean bag toss, Connect 4, and more! They will then raise their flag, hear their anthem and receive their prizes.

This project also includes an end-of-year prize restock and a set of water bottles for me to bring out for our soccer players in our afterschool program so they can stay hydrated and safe when they forget their own water.
